Well I got to get out with a buddy of mine and had very high hopes of getting a lunker winter bass for the last fish of the year. Nope! Well not a lunker bass anyway. After not being able to start my motor and only having the trolling motor we ended the year with a few nice snots and a few perch. It can never really be a bad day on the water. Today was as a good day I didn’t have to use my A.K. To another great year on the water!!!
We got a little upgrade for the whip. Been covering it with a tarp for a bit but this is going to be much much better. Not a bad investment if ya don't have a garage ($300 bucks). Also has sides, front and back that roll up and down. Went together really easy and is super sturdy. #gethooked #louslures #fishingfiends #DIY
These toothy critters can be a blast when it's too cold for the bass to be biting. Although I was after the bass I was able to grab a few slimers this day. I was using a silver 5" paddle tail minnow with an under-spin. water was 40 degrees and sunny out with very clear water. I was lucky enough to actually see most of the bites happen.
